Classic Door is proud to continue its work at Providence’s historic Old State House, originally built in 1762, by upgrading and installing new door hardware throughout the building. Building on our 2021 installation of the front entrance doors, this phase focused on enhancing functionality, security, and longevity while preserving the structure’s historic character. Our team carefully selected and custom-fitted period-appropriate hardware—including hinges, locksets, closers, and reinforced components—to integrate seamlessly with the original doors and frames. Each installation was performed with precision to ensure smooth operation, code compliance, and minimal visual impact, supporting the long-term preservation of one of Rhode Island’s most significant landmarks.
